Older people who are prone to falling down or getting hurt must be careful when taking Ambien, as this drug may have an impact on the reaction or thinking power. This medicine is only for people more than 18 years of age. Avoid overdosing or prolonging the dosage of this drug, as it may have serious reactions as side-effects. Take this drug as per the prescription, as the dosage may vary from person to person and age to age.

Take Ambien with a glass of water and swallow it. Do not try to crush, chew or break it, as this drug is supposed to dissolve in your body for good effect. In case you miss a dosage, skip to the next one, or take it as soon as you are reminded of it. The apparent side-effects in this medication are depressive mood, suicidal instincts, anxiety, restlessness, hallucinations, drowsiness when awake, amnesia, absurd dreams, nausea, headaches, and blurry vision.
